VisitCircle helps someone who is unwell coordinate visits and help from the people around them. To do that it needs a small amount of information about you. This page says what that is, what it's used for, and what it's never used for.

What we collect

• Your name and phone number, when you sign in or when someone adds you to their circle.
• The names and phone numbers of the people you add, if you're the one asking for visits or help.
• Coordination details: visit times, help you've offered or asked for, your replies, and the messages sent through VisitCircle.

We don't store health information. There are no symptoms, medications or medical notes anywhere in VisitCircle. It coordinates people, nothing more.

How phone numbers are used

Phone numbers are used only to:

• send the code that signs you in,
• send reminders about visits and help you've agreed to, and
• send the messages you asked for: requests from the person you're helping, confirmations, cancellations and replies.

Mobile numbers and SMS consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We don't sell them, rent them, or use them to advertise anything.

Who else sees your information

The person whose circle you're in sees your name, your number and your replies. That's how they choose who comes.

We use a messaging provider to deliver text messages and a cloud host to run the service. They handle your number only to carry out those tasks for us.

Stopping messages

Reply STOP to any VisitCircle text and we'll stop texting that number, for every circle you're part of. Reply START to begin again. Reply HELP for help.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your information while you, or someone you're connected to, is using VisitCircle. To have it deleted, email us and we'll take care of it.
